Sewage lifting unit

Sewage lifting unit for the drainage of domestic dwellings and commercial buildings (e.g. restaurants, stores, etc.). According to DIN EN 12056/DIN 1986-100, untreated sewage that cannot be fed to the sewerage system via the natural fall and sewage from toilets that occurs underneath the backflow level must be fed to the public sewerage system via an automatic lifting unit. Sewage containing petroleum oils or explosive admixtures must be disposed of via an oil or petrol precipitator, those containing fats via a grease trap and those containing sand via a sand trap. In cases where the flow to the lifting unit must not be interrupted during normal operation, a lifting unit must be equipped with a second lifting device (DrainLift M2/L2/XL2) with the same capacity, which switches on automatically when required (DIN EN 120501 A1).

Description/Design
  • Fully submersible sewage lifting unit ready for connection (submersion height: 2 m wg, submersion time: 7 days) with gastight and watertight collecting tank and uplift protection
  • Centrifugal pump with vortex impeller
  • Switchgear with shock-proof or CEE plug, potential-free contact, integrated alarm, mains-independent via built-in storage battery

DrainLift L1:

  • Single pump system with AC or three-phase motor for automatic operation

DrainLift L2:

  • Double pump installation with three-phase motor for automatic operation (with automatic alternating, stand-by and peak load operation)
  • Integrated double flap valve means that only one pressure pipe connection is necessary
