Wilo UK is celebrating the winning of another prestigious award in this year’s CORGI awards announced at Installer Live! 2008 at the Ricoh Stadium in Coventry.
Wilo’s entry was for the project to replace a number of elderly, energy guzzling pumps at Derriford Hospital in Plymouth with the company’s new, energy efficient pumps, which to date have already saved the Plymouth Hospitals NHS Trust in excess of £75,000 a year on their electricity bill, with the potential to save even more as the on-going programme to replace existing pumps continues.
Wilo UK Managing Director Stuart Herritty is delighted the project has been recognised again: “For us, this award confirms that we are getting things right and getting the Wilo energy efficiency message out and about across the UK. The quality of the Wilo products has never been in question. Now people are realising that by specifying Wilo pumps they are investing in both quality and energy efficiency and taking a decision that at a time when energy costs remain high, will see their energy costs dip and their emissions reduce as well. Choosing Wilo is a win, win solution for all concerned.”
