Wilo (UK) Ltd’s wish to become a patron of CIBSE stems from its desire to continue to build closer links with professionals in all the sectors in which we operate. Over recent years we have worked closely with CIBSE on a number of initiatives and sponsorships and have recognized the genuine benefits for both of our organisations that accrue from regular contact, exchange of views and discussion.

The aims of CIBSE closely match those of Wilo in many respects and we are committed to supporting CIBSE’s policies on Continuing Professional Development – our commitment to training and technical support is a cornerstone of our activities, Health and Safety in Design – high quality German design and engineering ensures this in every product we manufacture and sustainability – represented by the choice of green as our corporate colour, our corporate sustainable policies from design through manufacture to distribution and marketing, right through to our drive for energy efficiency that sees us producing the most energy efficient range of pumps and pumping systems available in the marketplace. We were proud to be the company that developed the first ever ‘A’ rated pump and recent independent research has confirmed that our new range of Stratos-Eco small domestic circulator pumps are the most energy efficient pumps you can buy – not just from the purchase price point of view but over a twenty year life cycle costing that includes cost price, energy consumption over that period and maintenance costs.

We have begun to contribute in recent years to CIBSE’s activities through our involvement with a number of events and activities and are keen and willing to commit to further closer links in the years ahead.
